In collaboration with OTAC, Handicare’s National Patient Handling Adviser, Mark Ripley, will be presenting Ethos webinars to continue supporting and providing moving and handling guidance for healthcare professionals.

If you are unable to attend or have a moving and handling enquiry, we can arrange an EthosGPS assessment or training via video or phone call with your local Handicare ROSPA Moving and Handling level 4 professional, certified by A1 Risk Solutions.

How do I attend?

To attend a webinar, you will need to register to reserve your space via the registration links above. Maximum capacity for each webinar is 500, therefore we advise to register your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. You will also need to have access to Zoom on your PC or mobile phone and create an account. Creating an account is simple and takes 2 minutes.

How long do the webinars last?

The webinars last approximately 30-45 minutes with additional time at the end for Q&A.

How do I ask a question?

If you have any particular question ahead of the seminar – please email [email protected] and we will answer your question during the webinar. If we are unable to answer all questions received due to demand, we will post the Q&A’s relative to that particular webinar here on our website.

Will I receive a certificate for inclusion within my professional portfolio?

All registrants who are present during the webinar will receive a ‘Certificate of attendance’ from their local Handicare Business Development Manager.

How much does the EthosGPS service cost?

Where Handicare moving and handling equipment has been prescribed and is being utilised the EthosGPS is provided free of charge. In lieu of face-to-face Ethos CPD training, we are pleased to offer the EthosGPS webinars free of charge for healthcare professionals.

Are you still holding Ethos Skills Workshops?

Your local Business Development Manager will be happy to provide 1:1 video call to hold a certificated Skills Workshop on a specific piece of moving and handling equipment, similarly they will be able to assist with any moving and handling enquiries that you may have.
